I first discovered the GRC Network when I was seeking to transition my career from compliance consulting to a role within the industry. I had already had a few unsuccessful interviews. After attending one of the GRC careers events, I quickly determined that a career in-house was the right move for me, so I reached out to Roselyn for assistance with my CV and interview tips. At the time, I wasn’t sure whether I wanted to be on the buy-side or sell-side, and Roselyn gave me some invaluable advice. I reached out to Roselyn for guidance during my job search, and she responded promptly. She also painstakingly went through possible interview questions and how to respond to them in a way that would impress the hiring manager. She gave me tips contrary to what a recruiter told me, and it turned out that the recruiter’s tips were inaccurate. I noticed that my next set of interviews after my session with Roselyn was much better, as I was better equipped. She did all that at no cost, and I’m so grateful for her.
